How do we suggest a feature? Shared items should auto update!

Question

All this time, I thought when I shared a password, if I later changed it, that change flowed through to each person I shared it with. Now I see that probably is NOT the case. Why??? If I've shared a password, I want to share it. I know I can revoke access. So why wouldn't changes to a shared password be automatically reflected in each of the shared accounts??? PLEASE fix this, LP!  (Family account; admin)

Welcome to the LastPass Community!

I understand you would like that shared passwords automatically update if one of the fields gets updated. This only happens for individually shared passwords. Since you have mentioned you are a Family admin, you have access to the Shared folders feature. With Shared Folders, shared items will be actively updating if any change is done.

Manuel, thank you for answering but I’m confused. You say “only … individually shared passwords” automatically update if the “owner” of the password makes an update. But that’s how I’ve always done it, and I swear it used to auto-update. But lately, no updates I make to an individually shared password push through to the people I’ve shared that password with.

So – should those updates be pushing through, and there’s something wrong with my account?

Or did you mean something else when you said only individually shared pass through?
