OK-- @john.stepper
If you were trying to install the old Mac desktop app, this was recently replaced with the app for Safari.
If your Mac is running one of the two most recent OSX versions, then you should have no problem.
I am using version 4.116.0 with the Safari browser. I also have LP for Safari installed and active. For whatever reason the problem has disappeared. I logged into LP and this time it showed that I was a premium user and saved all of my changes. No idea what the difference was but all is good now.
Hi @mpmondville
I'm sorry about that error there.
Can you please state which web browser version and LastPass version you have installed?
Since the problem began have you gone through a full power cycle of the iMac device?
Thank you @Ash Cannon I did change my password and still got the error. When I uninstalled and tried to reinstall the app, I discovered that the app is no longer supported on the Mac. (OOPS!) So my browser pugins and mobile app all work and I simply don't have an app on my laptop.
Same issue. Lastpass works on my phone (i can add, edit, etc) but on my Mac I can only read. Whenever I make changes on my Mac I receive the same error msg as OP: ""ERROR: Make sure you have the latest version of LastPass and try again. If the problem persists, make sure the source vault has been enhanced for privacy."
It's been this way for a while and it's frustrating. Will need to switch soon unfortunately if I can't find a fix.
Thank you for confirming!
Hi @john.stepper
I suggest first updating your account password which will re-encrypt your password Vault.
Next, please make sure you have updated or re-installed the LastPass app on all affected devices.
