Please reset multifactor authentication loop

I've run into a login loop that I can't seem to get out of.

When I try to log in I get a message that I need to reset my multifactor authentication, so I go to do that and a QR code pops up.

I register the QR code with my TFA authentication (Google in this case) but the QR code remains on the screen even though the new account is now in my GTFA (I now have multiples).

I can't seem to get past this point in order to get into my account.
