I have an android, & I factory reset my data. It's now not letting me download Lastpass. It worked perfectly fine before the factory reset. I didn't change anything. I'm noticing the app has the old logo now too for some reason. What gives?
Hello! @Jonatas Dias
We truly apologize for the problem.
Unfortunately this change was made for several security reasons, dictated by Google.
It seems the reason why, even though your device is not able to update to Android 12, you were using an older version of the LastPass mobile app due to your Android version your app did not get any latest updates.
The problem will be by the time you remove the app and try to re-install; the previous version you were using is no longer available and now you need to update your mobile device to download the latest LastPass mobile app.
Please let me know if you need additional help.
Greetings!

I'm sorry to hear about the access trouble, @nkbonna
I'm wondering if the factory reset caused some conflicts with the ability to download/install/verify the LastPass app.
Have you tried downloading + installing any other apps through the Google Play store?
We also have direct downloads available here: https://lastpass.com/misc_download2.php
I'm having exactly the same problem.
LastPass has blocked installation on devices older than Android 12
If it was working on older android version before factory reset and it won't now, this is planned obsalescence. Why does LastPass have to agree with Google in what's compatible especially if it worked before. I paid for lastpass subscription, now it won't work on my phone
Discovered the hard way just yesterday that the latest LP version won't run on any of our in house phones running android version 11. Unfortunately they cannot be upgraded to 12 or beyond. You may think they must be fairly old or limited feature wise but you would be wrong. Spec wise, they still surpass most new models of many brands available today and continue to accept every other app upgrade
I was told by the support rep our only option was to purchase new devices. Not true. Switching to other password managers, all higher rated and more feature rich than LP by the way is not only an other option but one that is far cheaper and offering migration steps that appear fairly simple. And, they currently show android 9 as the minimum O/S level.
We've used LP for at least 15 years, both the free version initially and paid ones since and hate to have to give it up after all that time, especially over what should be a solvable issue, but switch, we must.
