When will LastPass allow the use of Yubikeys on a desktop?

I see only on io systems on my Dell Win 11.  Perhaps I'm just dum (or is that dumb), so kindly suggest how to add the Yubikey.  I would be so delighted! And thanks,

Question one...
I really wasn't quite that dumb, as I enabled my primary Yubikey 5.  But I couldn't enable the backup Yubikey.  How can I do that?  Or, do I need not do that unless I lose the primary key?

Question two...
How does using the Yubikey affect what I'll see when signing in to external sites?  I've noticed I must touch the key to verify signing in to an external site....is that the MFA?  Do I still need passwords?  Sorry to bother you with basic questions; I must admit I find the information on the Yubikey website less than helpful.

Yubikey has been a supported two factor auth method on desktop for over a decade.
