Account Recovery Failing

Question

I forgot my LastPass master password and tried to recover it viahttps://lastpass.com/recover

1 - I entered my email address

2 - I received an SMS with a verification code

3 - I immediately (within seconds) entered the verification code

4 - Against all hopes and expectations, I see following error message: "The link has expired or is invalid. Please generate a new link and try again."

For contacting LastPass, I need to be logged in - oh, sense the irony - so that is not an option.

Generating Recovery One Time Passwords is also not an option, because I am logged out on all devices and browser clients.

Who can help me out of this situation?

I am sorry about the issue you are having with your account. Our records show that your account does not have recovery one time passwords available. Unfortunately, in your case, the only options available would be to log in using the correct Master Password or resetting the account.

I've had the same problem as several others: trying to recover my account and the auto-generated link sends me to an error page. Please help
