It is working fine for me too. The notice (attached) I received this morning seemed to indicate it was going away. Was this a mistake?
It appear that LastPass is coded under Manifest v2 and Chrome is phasing out support for v2 extensions, meaning that LastPass developers need to migrate the extension to v3 (presumably they've already begun this migration). Otherwise, the extension *WILL* cease to work at some point by January 2025.
LastPass on Chrome is working just fine for me. Delete the extension, and reinstall the latest version from the extension store.

I also found this message today, and found that the Lastpass extension was version 4.130.2 instead of 4.132 or 4.133 (latest).
I had to go to chrome://extensions, enable dev mode, and update my extensions, thanks Chrome >.<
Thank you, tizzputt, for your guide to updating extensions on Chrome. I had a hard time finding that information.
