Lastpass Authenticator App not identified in Apple IOS list of possible Authenticator Apps ?

Question

Apple iOS have a functionality to configure which default app is used to manage OTP Mobile Authentication on iOS. The associated setting is available in iOS Password parameters.

Currently, IOS is not listing Lastpass authenticator. Lastpass authenticator is installed in the IOS. Other similar application installed in the IOS are listed (Authenticator (from Google), Authenticator (From Microsoft), Authy, FreeOTP, OneAuth, Protect (from Onelogin).

This is a real issue because, when user scan QR code from IOS Camera it can't use Authenticator App,

because the url otpauth://totp/username?secret=***OTPSECRET***&issuer=applicationname

will automatically redirect user to Apple KeyRing.

Thank you for reaching out and outlining your experience.

At this time the LastPass Authenticator cannot be used in conjunction with one-time-passwords on iOS devices.

We'll take this use case into consideration for future LastPass enhancement.
