How do I make the autofill pop up go away once on iOS?

I like autofill and find is useful most of the time. However, sometimes the autofill dropdown covers something I need to read and click on. For example sometimes the “forgot password” link gets covered up. I don’t want to have to go to settings, disable auto fill, go back to the app, click the link, then go back to settings and reenable autofill.

Is there a way just to make the pop up just go away for a single instance?

I understand how inconvenient it can be when the autofill dropdown covers important links like “Forgot password.” Unfortunately, iOS doesn’t currently offer a quick toggle to temporarily hide autofill without disabling it completely. However, here are a few tips that might help:

• Dismiss Autofill Without Disabling It

Tap anywhere outside the input field or swipe down on the autofill suggestion to close the dropdown temporarily.

• Use the Keyboard Navigation

If the link is still blocked, you can tap the return key or move to the next field to make the dropdown disappear.

• Enable Quick Access to Settings

If you often need to disable autofill, consider adding LastPass settings to your iOS Shortcuts for faster toggling.
