Suddenly logged out of my of my LP extension in Brave browser and asked to Reset the password upon trying to log back in.

Question

I opened my Brave browser as usual, logged in to LP extension as usual (black square icon with 3 dots changes into red one), I did my business with two websites by logging in and out from each and suddenly I was logged out of my LP (black square with 3 dots). Why did it happen?

Then upon trying to log back in to LP, I was presented with the Reset Master Password page from LP. What is going on?

Hello Karol,

Thank you for you reply and explanation. My LP is working now as usual.

However, I don't have any record of receiving a communication e-mail from LP in early January (I checked Spam folder too). I did not update my master password "recently". I was forced to do it only when the described above event occurred.

If this was your way of getting my attention and making my account more secure, you certainly succeeded. Thank you again.

Thank you for posting in the community!

Early January we sent communication emails asking our users to change the master password to meet the requirement criteria prior being logged out.

However, per the system logs we can see the master password has been updated recently. We have applied a change to the backend to the account, closing any active session ensuring all updates have been applied as needed.
