My Passwords Data is Gone!!!

Today on 10/21/2022 I was faced with a scary scenario, all my passwords were deleted, it seems there was an invasion, because categories were created and texts replaced with something like Japanese, Chinese or Korean. Is there any way to get this data back?

I am also unable to change my account password or activate the two-step verification. I am thinking of leaving LP, as this is the second time I have suffered an attack derived from the tool.

I had to delete the extension, uninstall the browser and install everything again to get everything working again, even so it looked to me like some kind of hacking, it's a shame such a good tool is getting so many problems.

Thanks for the answer, but it didn't work. And resetting my master password to the previous password is not feasible, the previous password was changed because I believe data relating my emails to that password was leaked over the web from other vendors, so it would not be wise to go back to a password that I consider insecure at the moment.

What I find strange is that the user and password fields have been erased, in some cases added glyphs and some sort of oriental language in their place, so far no social network has suffered an access attempt, but I will only be able to be sure of this in a few hours.

I am very sad about this, since the news of the source code leak, I have been wary of leaving my data in the care of the brand, I will have a lot of work ahead of me to recover some passwords.

@ghoulslasher It appears that your last password update took place about 2 months ago. Reverting to this save point would bring back the vault data to that save period, and then you can always update your account password again: https://support.lastpass.com/help/revert-to-your-previous-master-password

Sounds like your locally cached copy of your vault may have experienced some corruption.

You can fix it by following the instructions in this article:

I don't work for LastPass.

Disable the extension, and login to your vault via the LastPass website. If the data is not corrupted there, then your issue is simply a corrupted local cache.

If corruption does exist on the website only version of your vault, then the corruption likely happened during re-encryption during the password change. Unfortunately, reverting to the old password, and then attempting the change again will be your only option.

I am having this issue but it is not because things were hacked. And it's not a cacheing issue either. The data is missing when I log in to lastpass.com. My issue is that when I log in to a site where I have already saved the password on Lastpass, Lastpass will ask if I want to save the password again. I will respond with "Not now" and it, for some reason, will overwrite my saved password with a blank username. I have to tried to nail down the exact scenario but it's very inconsistent.
