Login information gets entered, but then I get taken to creating a new account

We are using lastpass to login to ADP Payroll for a few different logins, and recently when trying to login through either the vault launch or from the autofill, we have been getting redirected to the new login page on ADP's site.

Has anyone else seen this come up with other websites and know of a good workaround?

Currently we have been copying and pasting the details to get logged in.

Same here. LastPass support is pretty useless. It seems the extension is submitting the form to register a user whenever it reaches the ADP login page. It doesn't matter what browser or OS you use. Disabling autofill doesn't change the behavior. The only fix is to either log out of lastpass or move the login info to a note in LP.

Same issue here. A less than desirable workaround for me is if the "remember user ID" checkbox is clicked on the form, then launching with lastpass will work, but you have to click to fill in the username and password. To set the "remember user ID" on the adp form, you have to log into the site manually once.

I spent an hour with customer support, and we fixed the issue. Go into your vault, Account Setting, Never URL. Add ADP URL to Never Do anything and Never AutoFIll Application. You have to do it on each person's log in.

@User17135611401752401028, thanks for your post, but this solution unfortunately is not working for me. I tried your instructions with both adp.com and workforcenow.adp.com (and even *.adp.com) but the behavior continues to be the same.

You have to copy and paste it. I had autofill disabled, but if you manually click in the LastPass to fill it, it will auto submit to the registration page. Using the login/password copy from the LastPass icon at the top right of your browser will let you manually copy the login and progress to the password and successfully login.

I checked and mine was 4.130.2. Removed and reinstalled. Now have 4.131.1 and ADP login worked as desired on first try.

I agree, would have been nice to hear from LP Support....

Hello everyone!

I was having the same problem. I tried the recommended workaround but that didn't resolve the issue. So, I removed the extension and reinstalled it. I noticed my old extension version was 4.130.0 and the new version after reinstalling is 4.131.1. This resolved the issue for me.

Too bad we didn't hear anything from LP support.

Hope this resolved the issue for others as well.

This seemed to have worked for a minute, but I'mback to the original issue (for a week or more) despite having the latest version of the LP browser extension. And noting the issue still seems to persist only with the ADP portal - I'm not experiencing this issue with any other sites.

One thing I've found that has worked consistently is that if you click the 'Back' hotlink under "Create Your Account" after being redirected to the Self Serice Registration (SSR) page, you'll of course be brought back to the Sign In page. You may get automatically redirected to the SSR page again, but one time after repeating the 'Back' link click a few times (usually around 3-5), the page won't auto-redirect you to the SSR page. You can then click the 'Next' button and the Password field will appear. You may get redirected again to the SSR page, but if you do, just click the 'Back' link. You should be able to try again (you may have to repeat this multiple times as with your login) and will then stay on the Sign In page with both login and password filled in waiting for you to click the Sign In button. This rediculous but simple exercise disproves the definition of insanity...not to say that this hasn't driven me crazy...
