LastPass made changes to the free tier over three years ago. Free users are restricted to one device type, but can make a limited number of device switches. See blog post from 2021, and some selected FAQs

Lastpass is trash now anyways. I wouldn't waste your money on this abandoned app
@jepennyYes I know that the are some changes. But despite your answer; I installed the program only on a computer (make no sense to install it on a mobile phone) I installed it 3 times under 3 different Windows versions. LastPass sees that as a machinechange. So they are forcing me to take a premium subscription. Thus so Free isn't LastPass anymore. I know the reason; Some time ago they got a new investor and investors want to see money. I know enough; Will make a final export, delete my account and de-install the program. I am currently using the Google version which comes with Chrome. Not ideal I know. (tried an other free password manager; that was garbage. Did not pickup login screens.) Wish that it could be bought for a small price. Hate subscriptions.
@joshdbrittainYes to bad LastPass was one of the best programs. But now I don't like they are holding me hostage. Must take a premium account before I can access my data. This is the part I don't really like, so I refuse.
