These logos are set by the website creator/owner and LastPass detects the logo image to show in the Vault if one is available.If you desire a logo to be shown for logo-free Vault entries, you would need to contact the website owner and encourage them to submit a logo for their favicon, there is not currently a way for you as a user to add icons to Vault entries manually or add favicons.
This is what we call in the graphic design and web development community as "poor usability." Instead of LastPass stating on their support page that "Logos or Favicons" are the sole responsibility of the proprietor or company to set so it is reflected in your LastPass Vault, the product management team should add a new feature requirement thus allowing users of their product to add our own logos to each entry we create. I really like LastPass however with over 250 records in my LastPass Vault, it is often time consuming reading text to figure out quickly the website, account or other secure information source I try to locate.
To the LastPass Product Management team, please add the feature to allow users to create or import their own Logos of Favicons to display above each entry entered into the Last Pass Vault. Many other Account/Password Aggregator Security Management Systems have long had this feature. It would make for greater usability of your system and in tern please your existing & growing customer base!
I could not agree more with @User1733212346514898286. Our company, with it's 100's of users and strict password requirements could promote LastPass as a way of not misplacing that password, which happens way too often. I guess I may have to increase our tariffs with LastPass until they come around. 😂 Seriously though, you guys need to do this.
