I I am not sure if the LP password I have is the correct one; it probably is but I'm not absolutely sure. I want ant to do an export but it will ask for the password & if I enter it & it happens to be incorrect I will be locked out.

Is there a way to confirm the password before I use it (Unlikely I think) or back up the data another way?

While there is no way to confirm your password before attempting to enter it into LastPass, the lockout period for incorrect entry should only last a few minutes.

Based upon your Community email address I'm not seeing any failed login attempts recently.
