Lastpass is stuck on "switching device types" and has been for days.  I need to prep my husband's new PC, but need passwords to do it!  I'd happily upgrade, but haven't been able to do it!

I did get a solution, yes.  I can't remember now exactly how I did it, but it was similar to the previous person said.  It was a combination of getting out of everything.  I didnt uninstall it, but shut everything down and brought it up again.  Sorry I can't be more specific.  Good luck!

I fixed this problem by uninstalling Lastpass as extension, then reinstall it and enter your credentials on the website of Lastpass that shows up. After that you get the option to switch between device types again and then it will succeed as you are in the vault website of Lastpass. After that you can login again on the extension and everything should work.
