thank you for the Quick Reply! A support for that device would be wonderful, it's pretty new, but i think like the already supported devices of the Yubikey FIDO and NFC-Series it should be fairly straight forward to implement, as it functions the same, but only has biometrics as another securitylayer built in.

If you can pls let me know if there is an update on the implementation.

Currently we do not have any news or updates to share about adding compatibility for additional Yubikey devices, I have passed this feedback along to our team to let them know there is interest in adding support for additional Yubikey devices in LastPass as well.

That is good, let them know the interest will rise quickly, as everybody are now starting to receive these new keys from Yubico. People will be wanting to remove the old key from their keychains 🙂

I'm sorry I don't have any new to share around Yubikey Bio specifically, thoughFIDO2 support is being developed currently.

I've been a long time customer of LastPass and I promote it all the time. I'm glad to hear FIDO support is in the works.

When my key arrived, the first place I tried to get it registered was LastPass. I have two on my person to secure my environment - Bio for the FIDO world (Google, Amazon, Microsoft, ..), and regular Yubico key for LastPass.

It's hard to explain how the leading password manager that states it is focused on security will be one of the last to get FIDO implemented. Please don't get comfortable with the market share because it will go away.

Hi, I've been a long time LastPass user and advocate. I want to start using my Yubikey bio as my primary login to LastPass. When I travel I often have my PC and my YubiKey is the same backpack which makes it kind of pointless if just anyone can plug it in, the bio is more secure.

Please add support for this device like so many others have been asking for over a year now.

It has been over a year since the last message about Yubikey bio support. Even if the roadmap is further out, there is no excuse for not providing some useful response with a schedule here.

At this time, every other major password manager supports Yubikey bio so logmein is giving us a terrifying signal that it is having serious issues with software development. Given that security is all about keep up or get eaten, this is a danger sign to me that maybe I should find a different solution for my own protection.
