Upgrading to Family Plan

My husband has had a Premium account for years. We obviously did not read the fine print, because both he and I have been using that account. I have two email addresses and he has one. Needless to say, it has led to lots of confusion, as I get his logins and passwords when I go to a website and he ends up with mine.

We now "get it" and want to purchase a Family Plan. I saw on the account that we could upgrade to a Family Plan, which seems easy. Previous posts on this topic related to fees and prorated fees. My question is - how do we disentangle the passwords and logins for each of us? Do we need to copy them all and then re-enter them on our own accounts? Since they are linked to our individual email accounts, will they just "move" with us? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

My name is Henry and I am happy to assist with your inquiry, and appreciate you contacting LastPass Support!

When you obtain the families subscription. Each of you can have your own LastPass account under your own email. Each of you would have your own separate vaults. However, in order to add each of your corresponding passwords into each of your accounts you would have to either exporting the passwords from your current vault and only importing the ones you are going to use.

Otherwise, you would have to add the passwords manually.
