Using new device with Authenticator?

I upgraded from an XS Max to a 15 Pro, when I sign in I get the accounts from my previous mobile, but when I try and add new accounts I get asked to "Replace previously saved accounts" which further states "You're about to delete all accounts previously saved from this Device: iPhone XS Max. You'll replace them with accounts on this device: iPhone 16,1"

Does this mean it will delete all my accounts and I'll be restricted to the accounts I added at that time? This is also the same prompt I get when trying to back up the accounts.

I have the same thing. It tells me I'm upgrading to a phone that I don't even have? It looks like the code generator actually gets added though if you just press cancel.
