accidentally deleted notes\passwords

Question

i keep some passwords in the notes section of my passwords

these are shared amongst several users

it is typical to copy the passwords from here, but unfortunately someone has cut rather than copied the password and now it is missing

it is possibleto recover this note say from 6 months ago?

is there a way of taking periodical backups of all passwords and notes?

Thanks for the response :-)

I checked the password history for the item (very useful feature) but it has never recorded the PW....so i am unable to get the pw.

I also like the export feature, but this relys on me creating a periodic backup, this would be great if automated.

Runs every month, creates a note, with todays date, and stores all details, phew i think that would have helped me!

You may check for deleted items by opening your vault, advanced options, view deleted items, there you will be able to see any deleted items . You or the user who made this mistake may view the password history of a site by clicking on the wrench icon, then clicking on the "password history" icon

To make a back up of your vault, you may export by opening the vault, advanced options, export. (A CSV file will download onto your computer with all of your vault items)
