It seems that lastpass chromium browser extension is unable to keep up with the API updates.

I have been updating both the bowser and the extension regularly over the past 8 months hoping this would get solved.

Question

I am facing the issue on any Chromium browser using the next extensions only. meaning it works perfectly fine if I revert to an extension from around 2023 or 2022.

On Windows platform

Facing the issue on Chrome and Edge and Opera GX. Each installed from own store.

The issue is the after the update it works for about a week and after that 2 features stop working.

1- Copy to clipboard. does not work.

2- logout after a set time.

As mentioned works perfectly with old extensions.

Please provide and explanation.

Come on team, are you a bunch of idiots or can you at least respond?

Why is it required to attempt to login more than once. Almost every time I have to type the password more than once. As after typing it the 1st time it blanks requiring me to type it at least one more time. Feels like a fake log in in an attempt to steal the password.

Is it really that difficult to use the code from your old versions of the extension to work on the new Chrome API?

As mentioned, if I use the old version they work perfectly, it is only the ones that are made to work for the new API that exhibit these issues.
