I keep getting the message that I need to delete my LastPass then upload the newest LastPass but I keep getting a message that states The item "LastPass" can't be moved to the Trash because some of its extensions are in use." So how do I delete it?

if you are using Lastpass with Safari, you will need to close both Safari and the Lastpass app, then try deleting the app.

I have same problem. Support resources are useless/too many/too generic and do not solve this issue.
