Help I'm locked out of lastpass

I've been using lastpass for years very successfully and it was working fine till today but I've been locked out.

The interface says a verification email will be sent, but no email is sent neither to this email address or to any other the other addresses I sometimes use, including checking spam.

The email in the interface definitely works, I tested it from another address.

I am absolutely sure I entered the correct master password.

So I am in a catch-22 situation, please help me get out of jail!

Well I don't know what happened but miraculously lastpass logged in at the nth attempt.

So my issue is solved & I've updated my backup I keep in a secure offline location.
