I have had incredible difficulty with login details being provided to GMail login page since Google updated the page..
I shall contact Support for some advise and hopefully get some, then return a post here..

Yes, but only when I used Firefox browser. I could open my Gmail from Edge. I finally found out how to clear cookies and other files from Firefox and that solved my problem. Don"t know if this is the same as your problems. Hope so
