I definitely remember my master password -- that's not the problem.
Hi @billonline
Welcome to the LastPass Community.
Your last login attempt triggered an identity confirmation email sent to your LastPass email inbox. Please be sure that you have added the following as contacts to your email filter's allowlist, then prompt LastPass to send you another email:
@lastpass.com
@sendgrid.com
@m.lastpass.com
@t.lastpass.com
Your existing password will continue to work, but if you change it (which I suggest doing), then you'll have to extend the length to 12 characters or longer.
Ash,
Thanks for your reply. It helped, but not in the way you might think. The problem wasn't that I didn't receive the security emails (3 of them before I posted my question) but rather that I didn't understand them. The emails ask the question "Was this you?", but the response "Yes, it was me" isn't a link. I tried clicking on it, but nothing happened. When I got your reply, I tried again, but this time, I clicked on the Validate button, which worked as expected. Although I understand the need to validate the new browser, it wasn't obvious from the wording of the security emails that the need for validation was what was interfering with the login.
