I'm in the same situation. I had even setup a backup email but the verification emails are not send to that account. I can't login with that backup email. To speak to an agent you need to have a paid account. As I can't login, I can't make change my account to a paid account. No clue how to solve this.
Even more exciting is how you can't even export your vault to a new account. Why? Because the export gets sent to that inaccessible email. Great thinking, LastPass. Ugh.
