Need Help on Password Recovery

Hi all. LastPass user for 5 years now. First time encountering this issue. I formatted my laptop recently due to a malware infection and want to log in to my LastPass on Chrome, recovery is not working as per reading here and other sites regarding the solution, the recovery won't work unless I am using the same browser where I set the master password. I badly needed support on this one. Needed to recover or change my master password. Hoping for a solution. Thank you all.

Hey, I am afraid account recovery will work only in a browser that you already used to login. (It is not necessarily the same where you set the master password, but a successful login with the latest password is a must.) And it is also important that the given browser had the cache not cleared eversince, otherwise it won't work. If you have used mobile app, you can try recovery there too.
