Thanks Henry. I appreciate you getting back to me. I was able to speak with a tech rep from LP and it became clear that the problem was with the person who shared the item with me in the first place. They had not included the pw in the item. When they did, I was able to click the Launch button and get connected.

In order to use shared passwords you need to allow the LastPass extension to autofill it. You can either launch the item from your vault or go directly to the site and allow the extension to fill it in.
If you have not installed the LastPass extension, you can get it from: https://lastpass.com/misc_download2.php
