Can't copy passwords or view passwords when offline using Android mobile app

When my phone is offline ( no internet connection ) after a certain amount of time, the option to copy password or view password in the edit mode is not available. This is true for every single account / password in the vault. I have Offline mode enabled in the app settings. I tried clearing the cache and verified the passwords returned (while online), but once I turn off internet access or enter a location (airplane) with out internet I can no long see password info. Also I can see the names of secure-notes but I can't open them. I believe I am using the latest version of the mobile app and the phone is S24 so not old hardware. I wish the app would do more to explain this issue - a simple message passwords not cached - or not allowed etc. Is this normal behavior? I can't have access to my info dependent on internet access.

We apologize in advance for the inconvenience. To resolve this issue please log out of the LastPass app, remove the LastPass app, restart device, add the LastPass app again, log in and test it out. It should let you see your passwords/sites even if you are in offline mode.

Please actually fix whatever the problem is that causes this symptom. Being on a 5-hour airplane flight without being able to access Offline Mode passwords is unbelievably frustrating when you cannot log in to the in-flight WiFi, so you cannot access ANY online resources! Your only answer (basically a "universal reset") is a workaround -- NOT a long-term solution! This answer implies that I should (to protect myself from being locked out of my passwords during travel) uninstall/reinstall LastPass EVERY TIME that I plan to travel. That is not an acceptable long-term solution for any software product. Please ensure that this problem gets pushed upstream to the development team and that it (eventually) gets fixed. This issue has screwed me twice in the past year, and my entire family, sitting on the plane, cannot access any of the entertainment that we had carefully planned for weeks in advance. Extremely frustrating. Please seek a permanent fix.
