Does LastPass clear the clipboard after a certain amount of time?

Hi, I am already assuming the answer to this question is "no" but I'm trying to track down an issue I'm having in which a few seconds after copying text to a clipboard, my clipboard data is replaced with a blank character. The only two things I can think of are that it's a security feature of LastPass or it's a "feature" of Windows of which I can find no documentation, lol.

Hello,

There is a setting in LastPass that you can change to your preference to clear the clipboard after a certain amount of time. Here's how you can change/disable that setting:

Click the LastPass iconin your web browser toolbar.
Go toAccount Optionsor click your email at the bottom of this menu >Extension preferences
Click the Advanced tab on the left side menu
Change the "Clear clipboard after this many seconds" preference or uncheck the box to disable this option

This does not work. I de-activate this as it has caused me to be locked out of too many systems when changing passwords and not long after the setting is dropped and it goes back to clearing the clipboard after 30 seconds.
