Welcome to the LastPass Community.
Family plans are more for sharing between 3-6 members. I would suggest setting up 2 Premium plans in this case, and also utilizing the Emergency Access feature should either one of you be unable to log in and cannot recover the password. While you could both share the same LastPass account, if you plan to utilize multifactor authentication then you may only use one device for this confirmation.
