Can I share a folder in a Families account to somebody not in the family?

Elaborating, since I can't fit my scenario in 255 characters:

* I created a families account to share passwords with my wife and kids
* I also need to share band-related passwords with a bandmate
* I can't seem to share a folder in my account to somebody outside the family, so I tried adding my bandmate as a family member
* This works, but he said that this caused LastPass to cancel and refund his Premium membership since he's now on my family account

Is there a way I can just share that folder with him? I wasn't intending to add him to my account, just to share the passwords we have in common.
