Can't login into Lastpass

I forgot my LastPass master password and tried to recover it viahttps://lastpass.com/recover

1 - I entered my email address

2 - I received an SMS with a verification code

3 - I immediately (within seconds) entered the verification code

4 - Against all hopes and expectations, I see the following error message: "The link has expired or is invalid. Please generate a new link and try again."

I need help. All of my passwords are locked in this app. I have been trying to recover my password for the past 3 weeks.

I have also tried this to recover account and every time I get a link it says it is expired. Nothing works with Lastpass. It is hopeless 😞
