Chrome extension corrupted (PC). After removing it, comes back corrupted each time re-opening browser.

Clicking on extension icon only shows small empty white box.

Things I have tried that have not helped the situation:

1. Repair in Manage Extensions
2. Remove and reinstall in Manage Extensions.
3. Delete folders/files in Windows Explorer.
4. Clear browser Cache

The corrupted file seems to persist no matter what I try.

Some fresh ideas would be welcome.

I was able to fix the problem by uninstalling Chrome completely. Meaning to delete all of the Google/Chrome files in File Explorer under 'user' in about 3 locations.

This enabled me to reinstall a clean copy of Chrome and a clean copy of Lastpass.
