see video attached, and the end it's not usable at all.
We've released the update, though for this version you will need to re-install the app manually to receive it.
The temporary fix may not show the performance improvement right away, but take several minutes for the background actions to level out. Please let us know if the high CPU behavior persists after 10+ minutes using LastPass version 4.139.3.
Hi @geoffrey.potoczny
I apologize for the recent performance degradation.
The upcoming LastPass software version will have a fix in place to resolve this behavior.
Thank you for your patience.
Thanks for your patience, everyone.

Latest Chrome on MacOS on M1 MBP. I re-installed the extension and am running 4.139.3, but the high CPU usage hasn't been resolved.
Running 4.139.3 on MacBook Air, and CPU usage issue is still there.
I have deleted and re-installed the app (Chrome extension). After 10 minutes of usage, the problem still persists. I have also tried all of the suggestions under "Fix a problem yourself". Soon after I activate the LastPass extension, CPU usage for Chrome spikes, and the fan comes on. If I disable the LastPass extension for Chrome, the problem stops.
