Can't recover password

Hi

I purchased a new laptop and forgot my password for LastPass. I clicked on "Recover Account" and was able to change my password. When I went to put in the new password, it didn't work. I know exactly what password I put in. I wrote it down. I'm not sure why the new password didn't work.

I tried to recover the account again and every time I try, I get the same message.

"Error

The link has expired or is invalid. Please generate a new link and try again."

I have tried this several times on several browsers. I tried incognito windows as well. I need to recover some of my passwords asap, as I can't login to a few business related accounts.

I emailed support several times but have not received a response. Can someone please help me?

I've been having this exact same issue since yesterday. I'm sure I'm using my correct master password, and I'm having the exact same error message as you when I try the recovery process - the SMS is sent to my phone, I enter the code near-instantly and it's already "timed out" . I'm pretty close to sacking off this service entirely.... and the "you can't reach an agent without logging in" is something else!
