verifications.io Dark Web Alert

I got a Dark Web Alert for my email address. It said that the address and the password was compromised at verifications.io. It suggested that I change my password at that site. The site is not accessible, as itappears that verifications.io went out of business sometime in the last 3 years, since their big data breach that was reported in 2019. Why is LastPass alerting me about this breach now? Is there anything I should do?

You are most likely being alerted because the data from the breach is still being shared. If you can remember the credentials you used on that site I would ensure that they are not being used for any other accounts that you might have.

Thanks. Each of our accounts has unique credentials, so our exposure should be limited.

Yesterday (Jun 14, 2022, 11:28 PM EDT), I also received a Dark Web Alert forverifications.io, and the email address.

This address () is not mine, nor does it resemble anything I use.

I have a LastPass Family subscription, but the message appears to be directed specifically at me. Also, this doesn't look like it would have come from my family.
