AD Connector issues and questions

We are in the process of disabling NTLM across our domain and have found that our current AD Connector (1.5.1170.28635) is connecting/authenticating to Active Directory using NTLM.

Several questions have stemmed from my research:

1. I found that .28635 is the newest version but can't find any release notes that detail changes, etc. Are release notes available anywhere?
2. Assuming the latest version still uses NTLM for the AD connection, is there a way to force kerberos?

I updated the above, as I realized we are running the latest version available.

That said, is there any way to force the AD Connector to use kerberos instead of NTLM for the connection with Active Directory?
