Clear Local Data from the Extension
Test the Password Suggestion Feature
Try changing the password for one of your online services. Start the process directly from the website of that service.
After updating the password, wait for the LastPass pop-up asking if you'd like to save the new credentials. Make sure to confirm the update this should help restore the auto-save functionality.
