URGENT: I cannot access my original username "email account" (I lost access to domain name). How can I now change this to another email address? LastPass Alert Message stated that I only have 72 hours to update my Master Password!!!

Hello Support...

I cannot access my original username "email account" as I lost the domain name which that email address was linked to.  I have just received an 'Alert' message saying that I need to update/improve my Master Password within 72 hours or I won't be able to login to my LastPass account!!!   But when I tried to do this, a confirmation email was sent to my old original email address, which as already stated, I cannot access anymore!

How can I now change my original email/username to another email address, so I can receive and also reply to verification emails (in order to confirm changes and features made in my LastPass account/vault)?

I am sorry about the issues you are having. Have you tried setting up a Security email address so all the communication is sent to that email instead?

Hello Henry,

I just tried to set up a Security email address as you suggested, but I've hit the same problem as before, namely, a popup appears saying:

"To finish what you started, verify your email here: (with my original username/email address displayed - which doesn't exist anymore), with a "Send Verification Email" button underneath to complete the update.

It seems that whatever additions or changes I wish to make, immediately after I click the UPDATE button, I'm always asked to verify by checking my old email address, which I obviously cannot do!!!

Hello Henry,

Just letting you know that I decided to put in a Ticket (Case) and received instructions on how to fix my issue, which finally worked perfectly.  So everything is now okay.
