One of my logins requires a password that begins and ends with a letter, has internal numbers, and only allows a subset of the custom password generators selection of special characters. I couldn't see how to config passgen to comply

I just manually edit generated passwords so they conform with any convoluted password requirements.

It might be nice if I could supply my own regex :-) Not for everyone I guess
