Logged out and password forgotten, all recovery options are bugged/don't work
For an unknown reason, I'm logged out of my LastPass account on my browser extensions, yet the one on my phone with biometrics login works.When trying to log in on the computer, I'm pretty sure I'm using the right password, it also matches with the password hint I'm getting. However, it tells me that, after entering the master password, I have to go to my email account to check for an email from LastPass - but there is none. Same thing happens when I try to log in online to my account at lastpass.com. Yes, I did check the spam folder, also the password hint mails do arrive in my inbox.Now when I try to start the password recovery process, it sends me a text message to my phone. After entering this code, I always get the error "The link has expired or is invalid. Please generate a new link and try again." Apparently, this function is bugged.Using the support recources, I also found out about the mobile app recovery function, which I have enabled. However, I do not get to this option on my phone: when opening the app, I'm immediately prompted for my fingerprint. I then click cancel to use the password, hoping to get this option the support video is referring to, where I can click "I have trouble logging in" to use the biometrics recovery function. However, this also doesn't work: the password screen only gives me the option to enter my password, no link/button to recover my password using biometrics. Apparently, the video is not up-to-date or something else here is broken, too.Bottom line: Pretty frustrating experience, I'm stuck. Any suggestions?Thank you!
