Logging-in with Authenticator

Hi Free Users and all

This inconvenience is 'hair-tearing, if I had any- takes me around five mins to log-in.

1. Clicked 'Log In With Authenticator.

2. 'We've sent you a push notification'

3. Push notification received and tapped.

4. Entered pass code into the random-generated on-screen keypad.

5. Entered pass code into the standard on-screen keypad.

6. The 'Time to Respond' wheel starts.

7. The on-screen keypad appears.

.......... and around we go again. Usually, this procedure has to be endured three times before LP logs me in.

I had carried out a browser update, deleted and reactivated the LP extension and refreshes browser, brushed my teeth etc. but without any success with a one shot log-in.

Whoa! Now this is weird, just logged out and logged in again, and hit the jackpot first time. Is Mother LP reading this message?! Any-road-up, if anyone else is suffering from the same problem, it would be good to learn of any remedy.

We should have that timeout problem fully resolved very soon. I believe we're in the process of rolling the update out to all customers currently.

I've had exactly the same experience. I finally uninstalled Authenticator and request the code be sent via SMS to my phone. Frustration reduced.

But, I have wasted most of a good day on this problem, getting absolutely NO work accomplished. I was fighting mad at this latest problem since LastPass has been my favorite app for several years. I'm a Premier subscriber.

M tks for the info. I hadn't realised that it was a timeout problem. My initial thought was a glitch with the concerned server.

Today, the same problem occurred but, only one timeout delay instead of the earlier three failures.

I'm not getting a peak notification and when i enter a code from the authenticator app it doesn't log me in. It says authentication failed or it'll tell me to check my internet connection and date time on phone which is all correct
