Why does LastPass intermittently accepts my master password?

I keep it in a locked document so it does not get edited until I change it.

I use copy and paste to enter it. The strange thing is I get mixed results.Just now, I got logged in on the third attempt.

First attempt - fail..

Second attempt, confirm there are no leading or trailing characters... Fail

Third attempt... log in

That was using the same clip board. I did not go back and copy it.

Here’s a quick guide to help you resolve it:

Clear Local Data from the Extension

Click once on the LastPass browser extension icon.

Go to Account (bottom right corner).

Select Fix a problem yourself.

Click on Clear local data.

If that doesn’t solve the issue, try the following steps in your browser (for Chrome users):

Clear Browser Cache

Click the three dots in the top-right corner of your browser.

Select Delete browsing data.

In the new window, set the Time range to All time.

Uncheck Browsing history.

Click Delete data.
