This is done by security purposes, since we need to verify that you are the one who is trying to access the account, eventhood you can select to trust the device for the next 30 days, by the time you tried to log and LastPass require the MFA you should be able to choose the option to trust the device for the next 30 days.
Regarding the auto log off please try to clean your browser history cookies and cache and try again.

You may have enabled an auto-logoff function within your Vault settings, where closing the web browser logs you out of all sessions. Check out this support document to see where the settings are located.
Regarding MFA issues, there are many free options available to choose from if one is not behaving as expected.
