I have the same issue with Chrome. I have tried to remove and then reinstall extension for LastPass but no change. Enter PW into LastPass website and all is good. But try and enter thru extension and nothing happens. Been using for years and first time seeing this.
Any ideas?
Mine seemed to start when I cleared out browsing history on Chrome but could be a coincidence. I pulled a Support Case but now it is mysteriously working again.
What you describe is exactly like mine i.e. enter PW and nothing happens. No error, wrong PW note, etc. Just like it never sees the input.
I did the uninstall and reinstall extension thing but that did nothing. But like I said working again now...
I have had the same problem on and off for months now. Sometimes, the LastPass browser extension just seems to "ignore" my password and doesn't log me in. It does not tell me that I entered the wrong password, it just keeps starting over and asking for the password to log me in. Then I have to go to the LastPass website and log in, which works, and then the extension starts working. I have contacted support and the only suggestion they have is to uninstall the extension and then re-install it. But then the problem starts happening again a week or two later. I think there must be some problem with their extension because the problem happens to me at work when I am on our company network, and also at home when I am on my home internet. That tells me the problem is NOT the work or home network blocking the extension; it must be that the extension is losing its connection with LastPass network. I like the extension, but the really need to fix this. Our company IT people are suggesting that we switch to another password manager like DashLane because it seems to not have these problems. Frustrating.
