Reused Password

Hi all,

Wondering if there is a method to mark certain passwords as "safe" when they are "reused" in LastPass?

We have so many reused passwords, but it's because we have systems that allow Google login or our LDAP login. This means that users effectively login with the same username and password, but its centralized and meats all strong password criteria.

Anybody else deal with this?

Are you seeing alerts to the security score when these passwords are reused? I'm afraid LastPass does not currently have any way to note that a reused pw is safe, based on the current logic.

LastPass currently does not have a way to mark certain passwords as "safe".

However, LastPass is going to offer a feature to exclude passwords from Security Score calculation and those will be marked as "Excluded". This means if you are excluding a password, then it won't calculate into your final Security Score.

The feature will be available on the "Password Security" page and it will be controllable via an enterprise policy as well.

Is there a way to see which vault entries share the same password? - often it is due to poor management of the vault entries (resulting in duplicate but different named entries), and if we could see the entries that share the same password, it can be quickly managed and really see where the same password has been used for different logons
