I got the Beta notification email yesterday. Tried to setup a passkey in Chrome on Windows Desktop for a login I use but when I got as far as storing it in Lastpass, I got an error message. I had to choose a folder name, and instead of going to my existing folders, I decided I would use a new one called "Passkeys". I don't know if that was the cause of the error.
Can't recall the exact error message, but it wasn't very long. It had 2 buttons, CANCEL or CONTINUE. I think when I selected CONTINUE I just repeatedly got the error message. When I clicked Cancel, it seems like Windows took over the passkey storage and then I got a message Windows Security that the passkey had been setup.
So the passkey is created, but stored in Windows instead of Lastpass.
(a) why did lastpass fail
(b) how do I move the key from windows to Lastpass.
