The FireFox and LastPass 4.133 issue WORKAROUND FIX

Question

I believe i may have a work around for this problem. With the update to LastPass 4.133 a popup occurred asking for data permissions. It was late at night and I must have declined. Since then, the LastPass icon has been missing from the menu bar. No amount of reloading of LastPass or updates to FireFox have fixed this.  Apparently LastPass are investigating.

Tonight, in the add-ins manager in Firefox I selected "Run in Private Windows" and the LastPass Icon re-appeared and so did the permissions popup. I selected "only necessary" and Accepted. Now LastPass is working again.

However, if "Run In private Windows" is deselected the Icon disappears again.

Clearly this is a LastPass issue introduced in 4.133 and related to the permissions dropdown. There is no way of reversing the original selection so you end up with a non working LastPass

SOLUTION:

The solution I found is to uninstall LastPass Extension from Firefox. Then go to this link and download:  Version: 4.134.0. Add it to Firefox. Then turn off the Automatic updates for LassPass Extension. This works to restore the ability to view Vault. You can get the older versions of Last pass at this link.

Sorry but that does not work. Cookies cleared, History always cleared on logout, Firefox stopped and restarted and still the same, The workaround of allowing LastPass in private windows still works but the icon disappears if work in private windows is disabled. So no change

I have no answer, just the same complaint.  For a while I could use Google Chrome, now it doesn't load the vault either.

Ridiculous
