Workaround for broken menu on Firefox on local websites (March-May 2025)

If you experience problems with LastPass on local and internal websites for now it seems the last working version is 4.138.3 from January 2005.

This is the broken menu in version 4.141.0 (same for 4.140):

So to revert to previous version:

* Right click on LastPass icon and select Manage addon.
* In Automatic updates section disable updates.
* Go to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/lastpass-password-manager/versions/
* Find "Version 4.138.3".
* Click on "Download file" for that version.

It should work immediately. Just reload the website.

Same website with LastPass version 4.138.3.

Yes, I can reproduce this very easily in a clean browser.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Install Firefox Nightly.

2. Install LastPass.

3. Log in to LastPass.

4. Visit a local website e.g. with a self-signed HTTPS certificate.

5. Open the LastPass menu — as shown in the screenshot, the menu is broken.

Note: The menu works correctly on the same site with LastPass version 4.138.3.

Please remove the LastPass extension from your internet browser, and in case you have any other extension installed, please try to turn then off, once is done, please clean your internet browser (Cookies and cache), re install the extension and log in to your LastPass account and try to replicate the issue.
